CRT Modding: adding RGB input support
for CRT that only have composite input
Yep, you’re deep down the rabbit hole.
You got yourself a CRT TV and most likely an HDMI to RCA converter, and the image looks… garbage.
Not only cheap converters do not deliver a clear image, having a composite input does not help.
That’s why RGB input is the way: some TVs do officially support it and some don’t;
in my case the SCART input on the back of the TV only supports composite,
that’s why we’re adding RGB support by modding the internal jungle chip inside the TV.
